The Announcements today 3/17 indicated there would be scholarships added to the guidance website. Can you indicate where that list is?

How long do you have between each class?
What do most students do between the time they get dropped off at the high school until first bell?
Do you just have lunch with your grade or do you have lunch with other grades?

you have about 4 minutes between classes

Do you have lunches with lots of your friends?
it depends, usually between an hour or two of homework per night
do we get to have any breaks during school?
it depends, there are three lunches so you should have at least one friend in a lunch
is the homework hard?
Can you eat lunch with people in higher grades?
do we get to eat with our friends? or people in other grades? and how much time do we get in between classes?one more thing, if we are taking all honors how many hours of homework will we have per night?
there are no breaks, thats why a study hall is very handy
do we get bigger lockers, of half lockers???
Is the CP freshmen year homework hard?
At the middle school we don’t have locks for our lockers, is it hard to do the combination for the lockers

Who are the freshman year teachers for math, Social studies, science, and Language Arts?
For the lunches, there are three periods when kids from all four grades eat together, so you’ll definitely see some of us upperclassmen.
All math classes have a lot of homework.
i have a friend in highschool. i feel i will prefer a certian spanish teacher and was wondering if there is any way i can pick which one i would like?
Half Lockers!!!!! their is 3 lunches and all grades eat together.
At the high school we have half lockers, though usually you can fit everything you need in them. The combinations can be a bit frustrating at first, but you soon get used to it. And for the homework-it really varies every night and for which classes you’re taking, so I can’t necessarily answer that I’m afraid.
Is there a big difference between CP classes and Honors? Who do you eat lunch with? How much time is between classes?
Will I see my friends during lunch time?

There is no dress code in our school, but you can’t look like a freak.
The lunches are split up into 3 sections and you have double lunch one day a week. You can sit with whoever you want and if your friends have the same lunch you will be with them.
When you get dropped off from the bus you can eat breakfast, do homework, play pokeman if your cool.
You can work out after school in our weight room. Every Mon. wed. and fri. If you are planning on playing football we have a camp in the summer also.
how much average homework does honors get per night? is 3 honors classes too much if i want to do football cheering, basketball cheering. and feild hockey?
I’m afraid it’s unlikely that you’d be able to choose which Spanish teacher you want. Sure, you can ask your guidance counsellor, but certain teachers teach certain levels, or it might be hard to change around your schedule to be in a different class. You should be fine no matter what, though. =)
whens the best time to take gym? like freshman or another year in highschool?
Do you have to take art fundementals before pottery? Also, can freshman take pottery?

well~~~there not to much of a difference between the cp and honors but i really don’t know myself
it depends on your fifth period class what lunch you have you could have etheir a b or c lunch but all lunches have all grade levels in the lunch

*waves to the five tailed fox wildly* Yes, for the most part, a specific dress code isn’t enforced, but that’s because most students dress reasonably!
In the Jr. High they used to have step-up day for the 6th graders going to 7th and the 7th going to 8th. Do they have that kind of thing at the High School?
What do you do in art fundementals? Is chorus an elective?
is it easy to get in trouble at the High School??? do alot of people get in trouble???
If you don’t go to detention you have In School Suspention (ISS) the next day. If you get into a fight you have five days out of school. If you get caught with drugs or alcohol you get ten days out of school. If you are caught with drugs or alcohol you have to see the drug and alcohol awareness councelor. Ms. Whyte

We have something like step up day when you go to all of yours classes that you have next year. You can also take career tech courses where you travel to Sanford or Dover.

Gym Class:
For me, gym class was really fun this year. (Oh, and I’d reccommend taking it freshman year) We do lots of different two week units, and we do plenty of things we didn’t do at the middle school last year, like pickle ball and tennis. There’s a lot of running, but over all, I think you’ll have a good time.

you can go down to the caf and eat breakfast or your can hang out with your friend but the one thing that no esle has said yet is the fact that you can have ipods mp3 players and cd players but all during your lunch period..^^”

your can wear any size tank top but it can not be strapless or a belly shirt…. ;P *poofs away into rafters* *ish hiding* hehe

Hi, there is not really a dress code. You just cant be dressed all trampy. Just because you are going into the high school, doesnt mean that you need to impress all the people. We dont care what you look like, unless you do dress trampy. We are going to think less of you if you wanna dress like that. You arent coming for the guys or girls. what ever you like. you are coming for an education. Kay?
You have 4 minutes between classes. If you arent there on time you may get written up. Art fundamentals is fun, you do a lot of different things with different teachers. You have to do art fundamentals if you want to do any other art classes.
You have a lot more freedom than he middle school. Dont try to push it. You do get detention.

You’ll be able to handle three honors classes and sports–if fact, it will keep you focused, help you make friends, and look good on a college application. The homework freshman year isn’t too bad, plan on having some every night though. Honors classes aren’t that hard. However, don’t expect to have much free time on school nights if you have sporting events. If you try to throw work into the equation it gets to be too much.
You should definitely do field hockey-I’ve done it for four years and had a great experience. Coach Truesdale rocks. However, football cheerleading and field hockey are both fall sports (there are three sports seasons at Marshwood) and occur at the same time, and you CAN”T do both. You’ll have to pick one or the other, because you can only do one sport every season. (Pick field hockey!!!!
